Our second stay in Hollow View after a short visit over Easter to Meadow Green, this time for just over a week. Both apartments are really comfortable, the housekeeping staff excellent and Michael and Barbara are very personable, welcoming and extremely willing to give valued advice about the immediate and wider area. A perfect spot for adults and children with the playground and tree house possessing a magnetic attraction!

As a young lad of 4 years old my family moved to live in the Stewart House on Florida Manor. We were there from 1944 until 1955. What a wonderful place to have lived. Having the opportunity to return for a holiday from Canada after all those years,and to see the wonderful restorations and upgrades that have been carried out by Michael and Barbara Lagan family is overwhelming for me. The Meadow Green suite where I stayed for 9 days is first class, comfortable, and immaculate with all conveniences one could ask for.
Mary Moore made arranging the accommodation so easy and was available to answer any questions.
I look forward to coming again for another treat.

Even those from North Down don’t know about this hidden treasure. Our stay was idyllic. The estate has its own feeling of serenity. A true break from the usual busy life! Apartments are lovely and really well equipped.
Wonderful accommodation in a beautiful setting. Gorgeous grounds with a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. A little piece of history being restored carefully and with great consideration. The high quality finishes were impressive. We will certainly book again. The local eateries were fantastic. Thank you very much for having us Florida Manor!
We stayed at Florida Manor in their Meadow Green apartment for three nights and our stay exceeded all our expectations! The apartment itself was immaculate and finished to such a high standard. We genuinely didn’t want to leave. The setting and grounds are idyllic and really child friendly with plenty to do and see, it is the perfect place to relax and unwind.
This was our second visit to Florida Manor. It was outstanding. The apartment was spotless and, comfortable and extremely well equipped. The beds were so comfortable and the towels and linens were of the highest quality and so tastefully chosen The bathrooms were outstandingly well appointed as was the kitchen. It was a delight to cook in the social kitchen, but the barbecue and fire pit were hard to resist. We enjoyed our walks around the estate, which is fascinating, and in the evening returning the luxury of underfloor heating. Thanks to a very warm welcome from Mary Moore. The nice surprise supply of tea, coffee, jam and cookies was a lovely touch and the checkin/out was so easy and swift. Until next time. Thank you.
An amazingly comfortable and homely 5 star property with relaxation at its core. Thoroughly enjoyed walking the beautiful grounds and enjoying the tranquil atmosphere the estate affords. Super comfortable beds and furnishings which top off the whole experience. Highly recommend nearby Balloo house for an exquisite meal.
One of the best places I have ever stayed. The pictures do not do this place justice. The apartment was amazing. Michael was a fabulous host. We had the best trip. We will be back again.
